Hello,

My name is Jay Juno.

I’m a druidic artist, writer, and composer. I live in Alaska, daydream, drink tea, and I love rabbits (especially the lop ears). I work in different mediums, genres, and styles in order to express the eclectic universe that is my soul. My music, writing, and art are reflections of myself. My work is also an attempt to give voice to my Celtic, Germanic, Scandinavian, and Finnish heritages in ways that symbolize the ideals of humanism with a reverence for nature.

This website is my oeuvre from a lifetime of creative expression through art, writing, and music. This body of work and research has culminated in concepts for my magna opera, Potential and naked. Sadly, most original work has been lost, stolen, or destroyed- so this website is also an archive as well as a memorial to my life’s work.

Workprints for both Potential and naked have been in development for years. A workprint is like a rough draft of a movie. My workprints will be done in traditional hand drawn animation- this means the workprints will be like unpolished sketches with an incomplete music soundtrack, missing dialogue, storyboards instead of film, and so on.

Although my vision has always been to create a traditionally animated film for each story, Potential and naked have never been conceived as just that. Their stories, mythologies, and characters are too vast to contain in just two stories. This is why there will be supplemental art, writing, and music beyond the main plots.

Thank you,

-Jay Juno

P.S.

Everything I do, I do for my mother and father. If it wasn’t for their love and support, I wouldn’t be here today. My life is because of them. This website- my entire portfolio- is dedicated to the memory of my mother and father. May they live on forever through my work, and rest in unsilent serenity… -Juno
